Humanización del cuidado de la salud y su impacto en pacientes y familiares: Revisión científica en hospitales mexicanos

La humanización del cuidado hospitalario reconoce la centralidad del paciente y la relevancia de los familiares en el proceso de atención. Esta revisión narrativa sintetiza la evidencia científica disponible en México sobre la humanización del cuidado y su impacto en pacientes y familiares. Se analizaron estudios empíricos, revisiones y documentos oficiales que reportan experiencias de humanización, estrategias de comunicación, participación familiar y prácticas centradas en la dignidad y bienestar del paciente. Los hallazgos muestran que la humanización del cuidado mejora la percepción de calidad, satisfacción, adherencia al tratamiento y bienestar emocional. Se proponen recomendaciones para integrar la humanización en la gestión hospitalaria de manera ética y sostenible (Rivera et al., 2017, p. 210; Morales et al., 2018, p. 55; Gil-Lacruz y Pérez, 2015, p. 92).
